the ridiculousness of this series definitely reminds me of Ranma 1/2。 New character = new twist。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I have read all of the Spy x Family series （that have been released so far）， and I do say this was one of the more disappointing volumes。 Throughout half of book， Nightfall tries to get Twilight， the main character， to fall in love with her…。 through a tennis match。 I do not believe that she should have used her tennis skills in order to impress Twilight。 I wish Nightfall would have realized that her capabilities both as a spy and tennis player would not make Twilight abandon Yor， his current w I have read all of the Spy x Family series （that have been released so far）， and I do say this was one of the more disappointing volumes。 Throughout half of book， Nightfall tries to get Twilight， the main character， to fall in love with her…。 through a tennis match。 I do not believe that she should have used her tennis skills in order to impress Twilight。 I wish Nightfall would have realized that her capabilities both as a spy and tennis player would not make Twilight abandon Yor， his current wife。 However， I did enjoy the symbolism used in mission （chapter） 34。 I was not expecting to see symbolism， but it truly did show Nightfall’s heartbreak。 However， despite all of this， I enjoyed the rest of the volume。 The remaining missions have more of the humor I was expecting。 This is a relief because the series is a comedy。 Without the proper humor， this genre can’t be relevant。 This volume， despite having a rough beginning， did let me have a good laugh。 Continuing on， it also focused on more of the main characters and the primary mission Twilight has set out for Anya， his daughter。 Focusing on more of the main characters instead of supporting characters and their backstories keeps the reader engaged throughout the entire volume。 Supporting characters can be important， but sometimes they can draw away from the main plot。 As mentioned earlier， I do not think that Nightfall’s story should have been told。 It does not correlate with the main plot and excluded two of the main characters。 。。。more

Loved this latest instalment of our favourite spy family。 Loid had his work cut out for him by trying to balance Nightfall and his pretend-wife， all while trying to achieve his main mission with Anya in the pretentious school。

This volume gets to have Loid and Fiona （Another spy） work together to win Tennis matches to steal a painting。 This one is a lot of fun。 Usually my favorite parts are anything with Anna but Fiona is pretty adorable in her "I'm a badass spy yet madly inlove with Loid" moments that made me Lolz。 The ending leads up to a really "Oh snap they finally meet" moment with plenty of heartfelt moments and fun to be had。 I want more Yor though。 This volume gets to have Loid and Fiona （Another spy） work together to win Tennis matches to steal a painting。 This one is a lot of fun。 Usually my favorite parts are anything with Anna but Fiona is pretty adorable in her "I'm a badass spy yet madly inlove with Loid" moments that made me Lolz。 The ending leads up to a really "Oh snap they finally meet" moment with plenty of heartfelt moments and fun to be had。 I want more Yor though。 。。。more
